Veterans For Peace
members were among the 100,000 plus that descended on the lawn of the
Lincoln Memorial for "One Nation" rally. The day began with a Peace
Table contingent gathering near the Washington Monument. Over 300
people gathered to hear speakers from a variety of peace and justice
groups before marching to the larger "One Nation" rally. Veterans For
Peace had a 15 foot long blimp with the VFP logo on one side and the
words, "How is the war economy working for you" on the other.
The Banner Gang struck again at the Newseum, in Washington, D.C. on
