Mid-East scholar Mary Neznek will join VFP 63 with a talk on the Israel/Palestine crisis, entitled "Why Gaza Matters", Monday, Dec. 11th, 5:30 pm MST (followed by Q&A).
Mary is a specialist in Conflict Analysis/Peace & Justice Studies, emphasis: Israel-Palestine.
She advocates for just resolutions with Episcopal Peace Fellowship, Jewish Voice for Peace, plus through congressional and diplomatic channels, from her base in Washington D.C.
Dr. Neznek has studied and worked in Lebanon, at Georgetown School of Foreign Service, Harvard, George Washington University, the Institute for Palestine Studies, and George Mason University
