Chapter 72 in Portland, Oregon recently hosted a conversation on the efforts to privatize the VA. Veterans For Peace has a National Campaign Save the VA, Vets Say No Privatization
Koch Brothers, Pharmaceutical Industries and Insurance Companies are all funding efforts in propaganda, legislation and political campaign donations to defund and farm out VA Healthcare to private for profit healthcare.
Not only is this an attack on Veterans Healthcare, it is Union Busting of one of the largest employers of Veteran doctors, nurses, pharmacists, med and computer technicians, office and patient services.
