VFP member, Margarita M. Asencio López held the VFP flag with a few Vietnam Vets as they reunited on Memorial Day near the vets memorial in San Juan to claim the release of Oscar López-Rivera’s from jail. Margarita was invited to bring the flag to a rally next Friday (May 29), where a group of about 20 people will end an island-wide walk for Oscar. The walk started in Vieques in April, and went through 40 coastal towns in 34 days (one for each year Oscar has been jailed), getting official support from many local governments. The VFP flag got many flashes, and some people asked for info.
