VFP Chapter 168 reached 10,000 patrons of the Louisville Bats vs Pawtucket Redsox ballgame at Slugger field on May 23. Our table was in a busy are so we had high visibility. A few Iraq War vets came by and said they agreed with us and were happy we were there. One man with his 4 small children came by and spoke to me for quite a long time. He was very concerned about the future for his kids and the endless wars and what kind of world we were leaving behind for them. Another man
walked by and left a $20. I think he is the same man who did it at last year's event. Overall, very successful. Just letting people know we are out there makes a difference.
