When veterans lift their voices to speak of peace, people listen. If you are interested in promoting peace, consider joining Veterans For Peace. Non-veterans may join as associate members.
Veterans For Peace holds a permanent Non-Governmental Organization seat at the United Nations and was the first military veterans’ organization invited to be a member of the International Peace Bureau in Geneva, Switzerland. VFP members pledge to use non-violent means to foster world peace.
An information meeting to form a VFP chapter will be held in the public meeting room of the Hedberg Public Library, 316 S Main St. Janesville, WI on Saturday, May 31 at 10 AM. The room is located on the lower level of the library next to the food court.
