Photos from the anti-war rally held Saturday, Oct 5th in Spokane, Washington, marking a new year of the occupation of Afghanistan, and the war there which has devastated millions of our fellow human beings without creating equitable and humanitarian distribution of wealth and equality of power. And there were many astonished upscale auto drivers who just hate to be reminded we are at war. Yup, that sign says 798 Million dollars was taken from Spokane residents to fund despicable war and slaughter of civilians. Especially devastating is the tactic of "genocide by displacement" whereby refugees are left to their own means of survival in dislocated areas of other countries without support.
