Des Moines, Iowa held its first veterans appreciation parade on June 30th. 14 members of Chapter 163 participated in the parade. The group was well received by the local community, and a large crowd came out to support the parade, The parade started at the state Capitol complex at 10 a.m and ended at Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines.
