I am very pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Reid as new ED of VFP! Mike has almost 20 years of experience with non-profit organizations and brings a wealth of experience in management, fundraising and organizing to the position. He really impressed the board with his thoughtful responses and professionalism. After serving as a Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist in the Air Force from 1981 to 1985, Mike attended Louisiana State University where he obtained bachelor's and master's degrees in social work. He is qualified as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). Mike is married, with a son and a daughter. He has lived in St. Louis since 1964.
